FOUNDATIONS

PYTHON FOR AI AND MACHINE LEARNING

This section focuses on Python programming used for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Learners will develop an understanding of high-level Object-Oriented Programming concepts and then learn the essential vocabulary (keywords), grammar (syntax), and sentence formation (usable code) of the language. This module guides learners from an introduction to AI and ML through to core concepts using one of the most popular and advanced programming languages: Python.

APPLIED STATISTICS

Learn the terms and concepts essential for Exploratory Data Analysis and Machine Learning in general. Starting from the basics of calculating simple averages to advanced methods of identifying statistical evidence to support or reject conjectures and assumptions, learners will focus on a specific set of tools required to analyse data and derive actionable insights.

SELF-PACED: INTRODUCTION TO DATA SCIENCE AND AI

Gain an understanding of the evolution of AI and Data Science over time, their applications across industries, the mathematics and statistics behind them, and an overview of the life cycle involved in developing data-driven solutions.

SUPERVISED LEARNING

Learn about supervised ML algorithms, how they operate, and where they can be applied, including Regression and Classification.

UNSUPERVISED LEARNING

Learn about unsupervised learning algorithms, how they work, and their scope of application, including Clustering and Dimensionality Reduction.

ENSEMBLE TECHNIQUES

In this Machine Learning module, address the limitations of standalone supervised models and learn several techniques, such as ensemble methods, to overcome these shortcomings.

FEATURISATION, MODEL SELECTION AND TUNING

Learn various concepts essential for building effective ML models, including model selection and tuning, performance metrics, methods of regularisation, and more.

INTRODUCTION TO SQL

Learn the fundamentals of SQL programming. Understand concepts such as Database Management Systems (DBMS), normalisation, joins, and other core components.

INTRODUCTION TO GENERATIVE AI AND PROMPT ENGINEERING

This module provides an in-depth exploration of two critical components of Artificial Intelligence. Through live sessions, learners will explore the foundational concepts and techniques of Generative AI, a field known for its innovation and creativity. Learners will also develop practical proficiency in prompt engineering, including designing effective prompts, optimising results, and applying various prompt engineering strategies.

INTRODUCTION TO NEURAL NETWORKS AND DEEP LEARNING

In this module, learners understand the motivation behind neural networks and examine their core components. They will install and build familiarity with the TensorFlow library, appreciate the simplicity of Keras, and build deep neural network models for classification tasks. Learners will also explore approaches to tuning deep neural networks.

COMPUTER VISION

In this Computer Vision module, learn how to process and work with images for classification tasks using neural networks. Beyond basic neural networks, learners will focus on more advanced architectures, such as convolutional neural networks.

NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING

Learn how to work with Natural Language Processing (NLP) using Python and traditional Machine Learning approaches. Then, dive deeper into Sequential Models and state-of-the-art language models.

DEMYSTIFYING CHATGPT AND APPLICATIONS

Gain an understanding of what ChatGPT is, how it functions, and its implications for work, business, and education. Additionally, learn about prompt engineering and how it can be used to fine-tune outputs for specific use cases.

CHATGPT - THE DEVELOPMENT STACK

Explore the development stack of ChatGPT by learning the mathematical foundations behind Generative AI. Further, learn about transformer models and how they are used for natural language tasks in Generative AI.

STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

Focuses on identifying AI opportunities, formulating business strategies for AI adoption, and leading organisational digital transformation. Covers strategic analysis, implementation planning, and governance of AI within corporate environments.

AI-BASED VALUE CREATION

Examines how AI and big data can be leveraged to create measurable business value. Includes modules such as business analytics, innovative business models, and the use of AI to optimise operations, enhance customer experience, and support new product or service development.

LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNICATION

Develops leadership and management skills suited to technical teams specialising in AI and analytics. Topics include project management, organisational behaviour, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication in technology-driven environments.

SUSTAINABILITY AND ETHICS FOR AI

RESEARCH AND BUSINESS

CAPSTONE PROJECT
